Tamsin Fitzgerald - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR & CEO
Tamsin is a Choreographer, Artistic Director, Mentor, Teacher and many things in-between. Tamsin is a Clore Fellow, Rayne Fellow, winner of the Jerwood Choreographic Research Prize, a founding member of The Ford Collective and founder of 2Faced Dance Company.

Tamsin trained at Northern School of Contemporary Dance and founded 2Faced Dance Company in 1999. As Artistic Director of 2Faced Dance, Tamsin has created and toured works nationally and internationally to much critical acclaim, including; State of Matter, Still Breathing, Third, 7.0, In the Dust, Out of His Skin, Two Old Men, KAPOW, Lucid Grounds (as part of Dreaming in Code), From Above (as part of RUN), What The Moon Saw, MOON, The Box of Delights (co-director), Hollow in a World Too Full, 7.0 - Reduxed (as part of EVERYTHING [but the girl]) and Lungs of Our City.

Tamsin often gets to work with other companies, being commissioned to create work for some of the world’s leading arts organisations including: Soap The Show (world tour) for Chameleon Berlin, MTV Awards, Watch This Space with Hofesh Shechter for IDFB, Wings of Desire with Circa for IDFB, The Rock for MOKO Dance, CUBES for Birmingham Weekender, Edge for LCDS and The Human Footprint – a dance performance and film for UCCA Dune Art Museum in China.

Tamsin is a published author of a book titled ‘Hip-Hop and Urban Dance’ for Children, founder of The BENCH - an initiative for female choreographers that aims to tackle gender inequality within the dance sector. Tamsin has taught choreographic and skill based workshops in most major British contemporary dance institutions, to several professional dance companies and in many countries including Brazil, USA, China, Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Spain and Ireland.

Emily Crouch - PRODUCER
I am a creative thinker and problem solver, interested in and passionate about the social purpose of dance and am looking for opportunities to continue my development and work with companies and organisations that my values align with. I have over 11 years’ experience of working in the dance industry, both as a freelancer and employee in a variety of environments.

I trained at London Contemporary Dance school and started my career as a freelance performer before transferring my skills to developing, managing and co-running Just Us Dance Theatre in 2015. Whilst developing a love and knowledge of Hip Hop culture and supporting developing creatives, over the past 8 years as Executive Producer of Just Us, I also cultivated and fostered my knowledge and skills alongside the growth of the company. Just Us Dance Theatre became an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) in 2022. Building the company to this level is recognition of my hard work and dedication.Since 2015 I have raised £1,500,105 from Arts Council England and leveraged £400K in partnership cash for artists. Alongside financial acumen, I am ambitious and enjoy thinking strategically, building partnerships and taking projects from inception to completion. As an experienced tour producer, I have experience across a range of artistic, practical and logistical requirements, from tour booking to being out on the road.

Lynn Clark - FINANCE & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Lynn joined 2Faced Dance Company in August 2020. Lynn has over 30 years experience in the Finance sector, starting as a book-keeper and working her way through to a Senior Management role in an international business. Lynn has also undertaken additional roles primarily as an accountant, company secretary and auditor of several local charities and community groups.

Alan Viney - EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Alan joined 2Faced Dance Company in May 2024. Alan has 30 years experience in relationships, business management, financial services and marketing, and has worked across a range of sectors. Alan has worked with many local charities and companies and is going to provide business direction and support to the whole 2FD team through his knowledge, entrepreneurial ideas and many contacts.

Justine Peberdy - PROGRAMME COORDINATOR
Justine studied Music and English which has led to a variety of jobs including arts administrator, gallery curator, ski instructor, music teacher, heritage manager and local councillor, arriving with 2Faced Dance Company in September 2024. Underpinning every role is a heartfelt belief in arts for health and happiness, and a mission to care for our natural environment. 

Sam Buswell - RD & DANCE ARTIST
Sam graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2016 with a First Class BA Honours in Contemporary Dance and was awarded The Marion North Award for Outstanding Achievement in Performance. He then went on to join VERVE at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating with a Distinction MA in Contemporary Dance Performance.

Upon graduation from VERVE, Sam worked with Motionhouse and Tamsyn Russell and over the years he has worked with many other acknowledged dance artists such as Hofesh Schechter, Royal Ballet School, Alison Curtis-Jones, Naomi Lefebvre Sell, Tom Roden, Theo Lowe and the BBC, performing for a documentary shown on BCC 4, Dance Rebels: A Story of Modern Dance.

His show repertoire with the company includes: RUN, What The Moon Saw, MOON, POWER, The Box of Delights, Last Orders, 7.0, Hollow in a World Too Full, Where All Paths Lead and Lungs of Our City.

John Robinson - DANCE ARTIST
John began dancing at an early age, and was part of the Royal Ballet Mid Associate Programme for 2 years and the DanceEast Centre of Advanced Training for 6 years. He then went on to attend Northern School of Contemporary Dance, graduating with a first class degree.

Following this John went on to complete a masters degree during which he was the apprentice for 2Faced Dance Company, touring in their triple bill ‘Everything [but the girl]’, performing works by Tamsin Fitzgerald and Fleur Darkin across the UK.

Upon completing his masters degree, John worked with Sababa Company, Roisin Whelan Dance and Vinicius Salles.

His show repertoire with the company includes: 7.0, The Qualies, The Box of Delights, POWER, Last Orders, Where All Paths Lead and Lungs of Our City.

David Colley - DANCE ARTIST
David underwent his dance training at London Contemporary Dance School. Graduating in 2015, he secured a postgraduate apprentice with Company Chameleon and following its completion began touring with the company professionally, first as a freelancer and later as a full time company dancer. He has also worked with Mad Dogs Dance Theatre. 

David has toured extensively both nationally and internationally in all manner of settings, from world renowned arts festivals to mental health secure units and prisons. For many years he served as a facilitator for Chameleon Youth, as well as on many outreach programs. David has a keen interest in both choreography and video editing, areas in which his future aspirations lie.

Tom Pipes - DANCE ARTIST
Tom is a Dance Artist from Derby and trained at London Contemporary Dance School. Upon completion Tom applied for a Dance Performance MA at Northern School of Contemporary Dance where he achieved an apprenticeship at 2Faced Dance Company. This quickly became a professional contract where he would perform with the company for several months after the course was completed. Tom is excited to be back working with the company again.

His show repertoire with the company includes: 7.0, The Qualies and Where All Paths Lead.

Mitchell Aldridge - DANCE ARTIST
Mitchell is an Australian dancer with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance) from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. During his career in Australia, he has worked with Co:3 Dance Company and The Farm, as well as performing works by choreographers such as Hofesh Schechter and Crystal Pite. Independently, he has also worked extensively with STRUT Dance and Brooke Leeder & Dancers, and appeared in several films for Revelations Film Festival and the Western Australian Museum. In his work he enjoys combining his three artistic practices of dance, filmmaking, and music composition, and is also informed by his interest in street dance.

Dave Beever - PRODUCTION MANAGER
Dave is a Production Manager and Lighting Designer. Dave works on a variety of festivals, with theatre companies, and has had previous roles as Technical Manager at Newbury Corn Exchange and The Courtyard Arts Centre. Dave has worked with the company since 2018.
